How do!. Yes mate they have mucho italiano wiring up da chuffio.
But they are a great bike and worth the hassle ;)
Find my thread called winter mods checklist (I`m fairly new the the RSV world myself). There are known issues with known solutions, which I have been gathering together in one thread and working my way through over the winter months, so that next year the bike wont just be fun, it`l be reliable too :thumbup

2STROKE - No problem bud, its a helpful bunch on here so any questions and someone will help out :thumbup
Nice bike by the way. looks better with the pillion seat on than my haga does.

Yeah you really dont want to break down on one of these as they dont bump. even tried it in 3rd down a hill once and just left and 11ft ******...

But when they are running they are some much fun :D

Where abouts are you based? not down south per chance?

Nice bike cheif whats that pipe sound like thought akro on mine was loud but thats gotta be earsplitting??
Any other mods you done to it?

Cheers mate, it's a Dan Moto, about £115 from e bay, they are Chinese but the quality is spot on, lovely and loud too!! I have bits of carbon here and there but the most important thing is she has been Griffed!!!!!!

Thinking I`m gonna get mine "griffed" after winter, what exactly did he do, how much was it and in what ways did the bike feel better??? If you please sir ;)
Is it just a full service with some tweeking or what?

Oh and nice bike by the way. Funnily enough The mille is the first bike I`v owned which isnt red!

I've had both full and interim services by Griff, it's not so much how it feels better but it feels how it should and you know you're having her looked after by the best and you're not being ripped off. This year I did a 360 mile round trip from Poole as he wasn't down here on a group service. Nobody else touches Red, except Louis of course!!

I thought as much, consolidation. I like the sound of that :thumbup spoke to griff for 15mins on the phone when I first got the mille, seems like a top bloke. How much were the services if you dont mind me asking? :eatcorn

To be honest mate I can't really remember, I know they were better value than my local place and if it needs doing there is no other choice in where to take it!!

Sounds good enoug for me :D just got to get it up there! unless some of the southern lads could group up with me and make it worth his while to come down our way !

2STROKE

Nice, loving the monster mob on the red, loving the stumpy akra. Not feeling some of the other stickers mind, but all down to taste. It just needs some ohlins forks now....gee I wonder who has a cheap set of those kicking around..... :ponder

:thumbup Cheers Steve

Yep my future shoppin list would be
ohlins forks & rear shock
ohlins steering damper
and the lighter OZ wheels

only trouble is I bought the bike pretty cheap and to secure the parts will probs be around a grand if not more and thats without all the fancy carbon bits............I may possibly sell this in the spring with all mods/niggles sorted for a profit and just buy an 'R' version in red or yellow methinks as it would make more sense £wise I'll keep the Akro and sell it with the oe can on..............................as I luv my Akro titanium zorst..

That was a hint lol.
I have a set of ohlins forks for sale ya see ;)
Although I am debating jus keeping em!

Its true R`s are very good value though!

If you keep that one you`l have to change them tires! :/ Bridgstone touring rubber on the sweet handling mille, errgh :bitchslap

God I'm slowwwwwwww :doh

Anyways what sort of figure you lookin for bud just out of curiosity u never know if I could transform my mille for £500 spose it would be worth the effort!!:thumbup

They look nice but tbh I think £300 then another 200 at least for shock 100+ for steering damper it all starts to mount up then theres my time and effort not to mention bike off the road fro god knows how long blah ......blah....blah.............
I think the best course of action is to sell the bike then purchase an 'R' with all the goodies already on there
Thanks for letting me know though and good luck sellin em if ur gonna let em go...............

Fair enough bud. And tbh honest I think your right. If you want to do all the R bits it makes sense just to buy an R. These would suit someone who just wants to do the forks or wants some ohlins for a track bike. But dont hurt to offer them as they are really cheap.
If I dont sell em I wont mind, its a nice luxury have spares ;)

Got afew pics of new bits bought here goes just an ongoing thing........thought I'd share it anyway .........
Couple of fork adjusters from honk kong cnc machined in blue better than I thought they would be for just under a tenner posted and the new resevoir covers (monster energy) got for around £7 on ebay hope this helps sum of yooz tarting up ur bike...more helpful hints comin soon peeps
