**** o the North

Think me n a bunch of work mates going, Travel lodge in Scarborough ain't too bad.
 
due to the unpredictable weather we are all experiencing the plan has changed to a day trip on the Saturday this can include going to the Mount or just a genral look around Scarborough, long range forecast for the area is 16 c / 10% chance of rain.
North East meet (England) 09:00hrs Dalton Park McDonalds
Yorkshire area meet 10:30hrs Thirsk monument
from Thirsk head to Scarborough
First race is 13:00hrs
 
On the off-chance I will be attending, can I suggest that the NE route is via Stokesly to Helmsley.

A planned meet up at Helmsley might be good.

was thinking of that way for the return leg using Helmsley as the dispersal point, however i am easy on any route mate
 
I cant make it to the CotN,but I'm hoping to be there in September for the Gold Cup races.
 
due to the lack of response do i take it no is up for this on Saturday :dunno
if not does any one fancy a good run out? no planned route just arrange a meeting point and head off in any direction :thumbup
any day will do as i am off for 4 days from today :yes
 
4cast doesn't look too bad for saturday, so could be on for then, not too early a start tho' I really do need my beauty sleep.

do you want to do the Scarborough and races or do you fancy a run over to Kendal and Penrith for a change of scenery :dunno not really fussed about the races as Lees bike is in the bike hospital and that was more for him, all i need is a good run out and some descent coffee :thumbup
with a bit of luck we may get some feed back from the other local members and make the decision easier :rolleyes
 
Brooksy, I fancy a ride out mate, Kendal etc sounds canny to me. Could do Hartside on the way over if you fancy going that way over? I'm quite easy really. What time, half 10 ish. Meet? Chester?
Felix - do you fancy coming up for a play?

meet at Chester 10:30 head out via Staindrop, Middleton and Kirkby Stephen then return via Penrith and Hartside :yes
Felix if you are up for it we can meet up at Staindrop :thumbup
 
Mate Andy only has a half day pass (back in hgte by 1pm) so were heading out at 8.00 am........ apparantly !

not sure where were heading..... will post up when i know.

You should try early doors sometime.... roads are deserted :)

Bloke i work with sometimes goes out at 5:30am..... on a sunday.... his wife must really snore !!!!!
