Right,

Now we have all made friends i need to ask a question......
I think i have sorted myself a tuono but its a way away so does anyone have a bike trailer near Worcestershire that could be hired for a day to take my px up there and get the new tuono back ? A long shot i know but what the heck were all friends here :crazy

Couldn't they deliver it Pikeman and pick up the PX. I rode my bike in rubbish weather a full 170 miles there and 170 miles back to PX mine. What one did u plump for in the end. Got a link to it.

PS Sorry no trailer.

well i may regret it but batfastards old one with the twin akraprovics, uprated suspension, wheels, discs, etc etc.

Hey Pikeman, have you thought about hiring a van to pick up the bike?Bikes on trailers get covered in muck and ***** this time of year.Yeah you can cover them up,but usually the cover goes like a parachute and blows off.[/QUOTE]

Thats a good idea, how do you

a secure it in the van
b get it into the van
c does anyone have a van ?? :thumbup

a,Dead easy, there is usually somewhere in a van to attatch a tie down strap or two.Just make sure one of the wheels has got a good solid fixing,so the bike cannot move. When I was racing,I used a couple of old cushions to protect the bodywork while I lashed the bike to the inside of the van.DONT BE TEMPTED to use a paddock stand,....the bloody bike will fall over at the first roundabout you come to,....speaking from experience here!
b,you can buy specific bike ramps but that would be rather expensive for a one off use.I 'borrowed' a scaffolding plank from a local building site.
c,sorry cant help with a van, sold mine about a year ago.

Thats a nice looking bike fair play. Now it says on there Delivery £25 plus 28p per mile which has to be cheaper than hiring a van. Even if you live 200miles away thats only like £81. Bear in mind even if you borrow a van or have a bike trailer you have to pay fuel costs. I'd go for the deilivery option if you can do it.

To be honest I prefer the look of the Tuoldo's to the new ones. Much better wind protection which is why I went for mine and that looks a mint machine

If its the link Keith B put on theres a delivery option on Lincolnshire motorbikes. Thats the option I'd plump for cos when I picked mine up it poured down with rain and I got a complete soaking.

:thumbup gotta be the Gen2 P min, unless yer intae retro in a big way!

(meanwhile Rico sits quietly in a corner awaitin the backlash ;)
