Ok, bit extreme I know.

Took the bike out today for the second time. Got up, no rain so rang the old man. Met at his in Bromley, shot to Brighton then followed the coast back to Rye & home. I just love this bike, so easy to ride at low & fast speeds, just makes me smile the minute I put the key in & hop on.

They certainly bring out the wild side in you though :eek

Couple more dodgy phone pics!

Rye mate. After 140 miles my hands were numb from the damn cold so we stopped for a brew.

Pisser bout ya ride but thank god for the R&G's eh, be back to normal in no time I'm sure!

When it's warmer I feel a ride-out to Rye coming along.

My T's OK, ride home from work today I managed to get rid of most of the shine off the tyres. 100miles now so should be alright.

On leaving the dealership, the owner asked me if I wanted to sell my bike - I said "no chance, it's mint though isn't it?". Literally 30 seconds later.....

Got to laugh really.

Glad to hear it. Don't ever let an off put you off, back on & show the bike who's boss, well so someone told me, lol.

Some great roads out that way as long as you steer clear of the main ones, A21 etc... I live in Maidstone & picked up some decent routes over the years. Next time ya out shout & maybe we can hook up for a blast.

Aye, its great to get out again. Did the Zed manage to keep up okay?

Sure is.

Erm, the old man don't come on here so I can say, no fookin chance. The z is a great bike though, riding that is what made me go naked so to speak.

Let the old man have a blast which was a brave decision as a year or so ago I managed to blag a blast on the z while he rode an r6 I had. As I took off he said be careful, this is a mans bike ya know. 10 miles later got to a decent road so thought I'd pull up & swop back for his sake. The lay-by I chose was blocked with big concrete blocks so waited at the enterance. Heard him coming, didn't see him slowing, got to me, saw the blocks, locked up & went straight over the bars throwing himself & my bike down the road. Laugh about it now as seeing him holding the bars with his legs over the front was a funny sight. Always been my fault for picking a stupid place to stop though! Told the wife when we got in bout the swop & she thought I'd gone mad.

Anyway point of the story, his going to test ride a t this week.

It may have been nice today but I was cold , knees and hands . Still good to ride though , saw a couple of red "T"`s and a white up at the barn.

Get some Draggin Jeans man ... they do jeany looking ones as well as urban camo and they are incredibly warm and waterproof

Thanks N but I refuse to wear DPM ......... , I am not going on a raid anymore and the jeans don`t look right to me (Wranglers/levi`s lee, etc.) . I have the leather jeans with tie up sides ( I have always had a problem getting waist and thigh to fit in the same pair of jeans) . and some warm nylon leggings but it`s a pain in the rear to go for a p***. Therefore ordinary jeans are prefared

Its not their tear resistance I'm worried about just theres more padding in proper leathers like on hips, knees etc. On an off I still think they'd give more resistance and hurt less than the Kevlar Jeans. I'd be worried about wearing them. Leather all the way for me.

I've got Draggin Jeans. Use them to commute when it gets a bit warmer. They are much cooler than leathers or textiles.

You are right though Bay, there is no armour in them so I won't use them for a proper ride.

I went for a ride yesterday, as it was sunny decided my summer gloves would be fine as I wasn't going that far. Big mistake, frozen hands big time!!
