Not starting and grumpy rider

Hi guys

Having a problem with my 02 mille , tried to start it up the other day and you can hear the fuel pump prime but when you go to start there is nothing but a clicking sound
that comes from under the seat.i have changed the starter motor for a spare one that i had but the same happens again.The battery seems good and on the dash shows 12.5 and then goes down to 11.9 when trying to start.Recently had a problem with the fuel sensor not working and replaced that ,could that be screwed and telling the bike that there is no fuel .

Any help or ideas greatly appreciated

So it clicks under the seat but you changed the starter motor?

The clicking is a failed starter relay

Use a spanner to bridge the terminals to see if this is the case if it spins when bridged then upgrade to a decent 150amp item

Not a cheap wemoto one try Aprilia performance for a proven upgraded item

As for the battery it may seem good don't assume ....make sure you fully charge before trying to start again

If it's no good upgrade to a ytx14 I think it is with 230cca

Yeah already have the upgraded one and have tried bridging it but still won't start

Although my bike is older I had the same prob a little while ago, check electrical connections to/ from the pump, I've been told once they have been pulled about a few times they don't work so well, good luck

Ok have you checked all the relays and fuses ? Get a multimeter and start testing
