They don,t work on mine,admitedly they we're a car kit(h11),but just draining the battery to much,so back to NOT see where i'm goin...:thumbup

Bad Boy, if the HID's are draining your battery they may be wired up incorrectly!!

Admittedly they do take a fair bit of power to ignite the burners but once lit they actually use less power than a standard H4 or H7 halogen bulb.

Also, being car HID units would make no difference as long as they are 12V units, only difference would be that they may be quite a bit bigger than the usual motorcycle ballast boxes.

This guys most probably the cheapest one around for HID's, mines from him and it works 100% of the time.

Hang on, all I used to see in my mirrors from SouthPaw & Electro was a blinding white light & on my RSVR I used to get very agitated drivers in front of me who thought I had full beam on...what's the problem with your standard headlights?????????

Your right,they are bigger(& a ******* to fit),had a friend come round to check the voltage,he said the ballast boxes we,re draining to much power from the bike..:thumbup
 
Aye, that's the battleship grey effect mate....try riding a black RSV...invisible to most drivers, Police, Cameras and the X factor!!!!
 
On a lighter note was it you're bright idea to fit the rather large bulbuous things in the first place,If it was it was a dull idea
