Anyone up for a ride out Saturday 9th August ?

Anything considered from Yorkshire to the borders.

I am sure compo will suggest a route that will keep most of us happy.
 
Not for me either, stuck at work for the next three weeks. :thumbdown On the plus side im on my way to Trinidad :thumbup
 
I'll turn out for a bimble. Could do 696 to Carter Bar then left towards Hawick but turn off and drop down to Kielder, or go to Richmond via Staindrop Leyburn & Hawes?
 
Love going through Kielder that way, but rather than going 696 all the way up you could turn right at Belsay to Scotts gap then up to Rothbury and across Elsdon moor another favorite of mine. Brings you out just before Otterburn
 
Looks like a plan coming together to head north.

Any preference for a meeting point / time ?
 
Ok, what about meeting in macdonalds car bark at boldon, near the bmw garage at 9:30 Saturday.
 
I am heading down to Castleford around 12 ish on the shiver returning on the stelvio

Sorry guys, wont be out tomorrow...

Just put me steed back together so im gonna head out for an hour local then back to the lab to check everything over... for piece of mind !

Ok, probably a good idea to keep an eye on him.

He may need some assistance to get him on it.

Probably need us both there to get his wallet open as well.
