COUNTY DURHAM
if the forecast remains the same for Sunday is any body up for a good run out :yes
meet the Durham lot at Wynyard services (point A) at 10:00hrs
meet any interested folk from the North yorks area at Helmsley around 11:00hrs
then follow the route below

stop over at the Lion Inn for refreshments :yes
its my intention to have a steady away day as riding like a fookin hooligan is killing my fuel consumption :lol
come on guys get the bikes dusted off, fuelled up and have a good day out :thumbup
 
I am going to have to decline.

Its the start of my annual shutown week at work.

Dont forget plenty of piccys.

Mr B, never mind the fuel consumption, you will be saving a fortune on front hoops.
 
Gents,
for info, there a a little road that runs North from Kirbymoorside, comes out just south of the Lion Inn - sort of runs to the west & parallel to the road Mr B is proposing.

It makes a pleasant change from the main road, going through lots of little places you would normally miss at a zillion miles an hour.

Some little pubs / picnic areas for a breather as well.

on the mend... am now allowed to ride again (well try anyway).

Gonna try a few short / steady runs maybe next week and see how it goes. 6 months since i last rode a bike.... gonna be a bit rusty me thinks

im up for a ride out ont T.....i can come over from preston on the 49 over blubber houses to hororgate and then over to helmsley and meet you all there ....mmm nice early start to piss the neighbours off:thumbup

any one else comin from over my way and fancies a run????let me know and i will meet up with you en route 8-8.15 ish

I may only be able to get out for an hour or two if its sat though as it's my lads birthday.
But I definitely need to get out on the bike, went for a wee run to blow the cobwebs out yesterday and talk about 50p'ing round corners and target fixation!:doh think it's old age creeping up on me...

the ride out will take place on Saturday and not the Sunday :megaphone
all times and route remain the same :yes TP I will meet you in Hartlepool if you want as I will be going that way :yes let me know :thumbup
GF are you heading straight to Wynyard or to you want to drop by mine first and we can run down and pick up TP :dunno
 
Sorry to jump to conclusions for Saturday :p, I will be out over the moors on saturday either way so will join you guys then if not have a good ride out.
