Hi Steve,

That sounds like the immobiliser has gone t'up (if you have one). Happened to me at last years MotoGp, called RAC and still no joy. Did the usual 'wiggle all the wires' and it started up straight away. Got home and decided to remove the immobiliser and haven't looked back since. Even after a 3k trip around Europe last year still hasn't missed a beat.

Hi LL, how did you manage to remove the immobiliser?

My immobiliser went on my factory r and no one will post the details of how to remove it so i took mine to gs motorcycle repairs and glen removed it for me top job its never flickered since and its a must I would say to get this done for 100% reliability as they can go at any point ! My bike you could turn the key off and it would keep running then just packed in alltogether good luck

Hi Aldo,

Mine was a Meta alarm and I watched a video that showed you how to bypass the immobilser with a paperclip on the feed to the immobiliser. However I just cut the wires and soldered them together. Unortunately I don't have the link for the video, but I did find this on the net.

Meta bypass

Edit. Found it! Forward to 11 mins in for the correct info

Meta bypass video

Hope this helps?

Thanks, Len

Steve ... go into diagnostics and look to see if any fault codes are stored on the dash .... 👍

Hi Steve I just had same problem pulling my hair out! Please try this make sure battery charged over night , pop plugs out put a dry set in ! Check you have spark before changing the plugs and don’t throttle it on first attempt with both plugs changed. Mine wouldn’t start tried three battery’s then changed to dry plugs and she fired rite up. Buggers for flooding
