Took out plates to dull them down with wet & dry also put some 1mm washers on top of spring as been getting slip. Put everything back exactly as it came out in correct order and clutch quite stiff. Goes into gear but bike going no-where when clutch let out ?? diapragm moves and theres 15mm freeplay before diapragm moves.
Turn engine off and leave in gear and it won't push forward which you expect. Take it out of gear and it freewheels ok.
Took washers off and its still the same and just as stiff so not that.
Noticed on the first steel to go in that one tooth is squared off and shorter than others. Does this make a difference regarding position in the hub?
Understand the central rod can be adjusted but i slacken off the large outer nut and turn the rod with a allen key and it does not move in or out { Assuming this is the correct rod as i cant find another }
:confused

Managed to sort it out eventually although what i did different i don't know :confused
Stripped it all down again and washed out the basket and wiped all the plates.
Put it all back and its fine { nuetral still a sod to find but never mind }. The large rod down the middle i pulled off its seal and pushed it back in but did nowt else different.
Whipped it up to 156 with no slip and plenty left so happiness reigns once more:thumbup

Still not a match for my BM 1000 rr but thats to be expected.
