Hello,
Just see this. I posted a similar question a year or so ago. I have an RSVR gen.2 2004 and am also using Michelin Pilot Power 2CTs. Same experience. At big lean angles it feels like the bike is suddenly about to fall over. Strange thing is that it doesn’t happen consistently or even that often, but it’s mightily disconcerting when it does. Like you, I had no reply from other forum members. Perhaps it’s a question for a Michelin bike tyre tech? They are great tyres and usually very confidence inspiring. When it first happened, during a Brands track day going round devils elbow and Surtees I thought that I must have been hitting a big bump but apparently not.
Sorry not to be any great help but at least you k owthat it’s not just you!

Hi guys, may have nothing to do with it but I had the same thing, just changed my tyres and also found out my head bearings are on the way out, have them checked maybe, but like I said may have nothing to do with it as I don't see how a tiny bit of play could make it feel so bad
