Okay folks after a couple of months of **** fae ma bike it's time to sell,the bike is gettin traded in so have some bits and bobs for sale,pc3usb,dynojet quickshifter,ohlins steering damper,shorty levers chinese jobbies (might need a touch up) and finally my beloved mivv x-cones sob sob they've got to go and iv'e got an idea wot there worth but give me an offer you never know:devious:thumbup oh and forgot to mention these are off a 2005 RSVR ,does anyone have an opinion on my next bike it's between a k8 gsxr 750 and a ktm superduke i'm thinkin i need to keep it a twin but the gixer is a quality track weapon which is wot i am going to be doing more of:eek::thumbup:biggrin
 
k8 matey, it'll be an awesome track tool and there's an abundance of parts for em - both performance and replacement bits :thumbup

I can't knock the bike Bryan, i've had no issues with mine apart from my fook ups(q/s) lol
given the chance i'd be on the gixxer tho tomorrow

not you to bryan mate im pissed off wi mine also with the speedo not working and my missfires back i really want to sell the ****** but its the best thing ive been on to date bud for sheer fun factor and great sound i love the bike but hate the common problems you get with them since ive been on the rsv-zone everyone seems to have problems but **** it im sticking with mine its just too good a wep mate ..if my **** was bigger i would **** it in my garage as its just a super sexy beast ..i will sell you mine for 2k mate so i can buy a my new rsv-four lol
 
I've had a superduke R and a K5. Diff bikes and both awesome. The duke is by far the most drop dead gorgeous looking bike and just fantastic for the road and superbly comfortable, the K5 is a great but doesn't have the character of the twins and you'll be hard pushed to see another duke in the park but gixxer 1000's will be everywhere. For the track it depends how good you are! the gsxr it a big fast bike to haul around most tracks and takes a lot of riding.
For me it's a v-twin and looks
 
Hi cowelly cheers for the info,i am defo sliding towards the k8 750 ,but i'm also interested in a newer 600 as it would suit knockhill better,and my plans for the future invole a bit of club racing if time and money allow so an r6 or cbr rr 8 might be on the cards, Biff mate do you want to buy a mint 2005 rsvr one very carful owner lol oh and i went to go out for a blast yesterday only to find a dirty great screw in ma back tyre,seams i just cany catch a break then the alarm started going off and i had to disconnect the battery,ended up being a duff battery more effin money ****** bike......

So that leaves my lovelly mivv x-cones as i said before these are the dogs bollocks,i know £250 seems alot but when you compare it to the £800 new then bargain and yous can go without beer for a couple of weeks(nights in some cases) you won't regret it , and all funds are going towards a good cause my new bike ..lol
 
Not to sure m8 i know the mastercylinders are different so i assume the levers are to but to be honest m8 your probably better buying them off ebay for 35 notes delivered from moto88, right folks i've just went and bought another bike today and the rsvr is away on thursday and ive only got the exhausts left .....Right wot do you think of ma new bike its a 2009 triumph daytona 675 se the white and blue chap its only got 980miles on the clock and costs less a month than wot ma ape was costin,supersport heaven here we come and keepin it british ,or am i swapin one set of probs for another,couldn't bring myself going all the way to boring 4s
 
bryan, i cant believe you're sellin' out man! even after that beautiful rant i had about why i-4s are class-less, boring, and too common... just track the ape! you live over the pond, yjere shouldnt be any shortage of parts or fairings like we have over here. :p
If you want a 750, hold out for the MV F3 and stop being a wanka!

Absolutely brilliant wee bike bud, needs a race can for the "triple howl" but jesus what a flying machine.................handling OOOOFFFFF...... it's awesome!! Just keep a VERY VERY close eye on the oil level bud, my mates uses a fair bit!!
 
Good to know m8 you can tell me wot you think when you come for the quickshifter or i can meet you somewhere as i'll want to get used to the bike,the wife isnay happy all that i should have told her before i went ahead but she already said aye and she knows wot i'm like its my wedding anniversary tommorow so things will be back to normal , perfect timing.....oh and Mr Chow my dad told me this little dity years ago Your either a ****** or a Liar or both a wankin liar

well we all ****, that's a fact of life. I'd almost call you a liar for selling the ape, but the
triumph is a fine lass and I'll let it slide this time ;)
