Hello everybody!

This is my first post but I've been lurking here for a while. I saw a post on af1 forum that show pictures of a first generations mille with a 04+ rear end.

It looked quit nice I think and I wonder if anyone here have done this mod or know how to do it?

Is it possible with the stock rear sub frame or does it have to be changed to the newer one?

Here is one of the pictures in the af1 forum thread:

at a guess i'd say you'd have to use the new shape subframe and modify it slightly to fit the old shape chassis.

yep you will need to use the subframe from the 04 on

From what i can remember, 2 of the mounting points need to cut, turned thru 90degrees, rewelded then should bolt up

i would like to see the how to version of this as well, the wife will never sit on teh back anymore, so gotta clean up the rear tail and get a solid piece on there.

Guess it's the easiest way to do it. Well, I'll just have to find a subframe then and give it a try... There is one at ebay just now but uk delivery only on that one. Anyone here got a spare to sell? Preferably in europe due to the shipping cost. :jack
