hi all, my names Reece, I'm 21, live in hastings, E. Sussex, (England) I've had the tuono for about a month, thought it was about time to introduce myself :)

the bike is an 09 R, ex demo, had a few mods done, not many though
so far :
motrax hootaz- snail horns
front spindle/ fork protectors
lower crash bungs
ktm 990 adventure brush (hand) guards (needed a lil' adjustment)
running dunlop D 208s
needs some akrapovics and a highflow filter, will have to be next year due to lack of funds:(

am considering a 15 tooth front sprocket, but i'm not sure yet, what about a 16?

pics are on the profile.
safe riding lads.
Reece

welcome to the nut house mate . put the 15t sprocket on she goes alot better

would you advise keeping the gear ratio standard for a bit though?
its my first 1000 AND first twin...

Only goes as fast as your right hand mate.
Fit the sprocket and take it easy :)

You're only a young wipper snapper, leave it as it is, and get to know the bike first.
Its a cracking machine and you will get loads of pleasure from it as it is.

One up and two down... Makes the T... WAKE UP! One of the funnest easiest mods made to make you go faster. And yeah, the traction control is easily adjusted with the right hand. Welcome and don't forget to make your voice heard!

Hi Reece,

Your not too far off from me, I often get down to Rye and Romney for a blast. Perhaps we can hook up next year sometime.

I'm with the others 15T all day long (should already be 16). It actually makes the bike easier to ride and smooths it out heaps.

i ride all year through (except when snow/ice decide otherwise) though i prefer it when its dry:)
so if you fancy it, i might be out next weekend, probably around the rye area...
and as for the front sprocket, i think i'm going to get one ordered, but i think john @ bikersworld said it had a 17t as standard?7

Ice and snow are a way of life over here in Canada. It makes up for six months of our riding season. That's why we're such hard fuckers.
