Just joined and thought I'd better say 'Hi!'

Not actually a Tuono owner yet but is on it's way...in a crate....from errrrr...somewhere. Or so the nice man from Taz informs me. :thumbup

Part exed my second Falco as wanted to not have neck ache any more and a little more power....so after a couple of goes on my mates bike, thinks I, Tuono will do very nicely thankyou.

Be logging in regular for tips, no doubt asking silly questions and maybe get to a few 'meets'

Hello and welcome.

New to the Tuono myself, what version you bought is it an R?? What about colour what you gone for?

Hope you enjoy it when it arrives.

Cheers
Mark

Hey Mark, cheers for the hello.

Well ......was actually after a second hand Factory but like the proverbial 'rocking horse' and most of the ones I saw were only a grand or so below new price.

Ended up getting an 09 (colours at least) Factory from Taz in Peterbrough.....did me a good deal but now bit worried about the delivery time!! Was told 3 weeks but has been 6 and still no wheels on the horizon! Due back from work in 5 weeks so wont start shouting and screaming till then lol

And yourself.....how you getting on with yours, clox steamed up yet??

G'day and welcome Packhorse.

I'd be jumping up and down if it were me mate. I hope it arrives soon.

Dave

Cheers for that Dave :cheers

Yep....I am getting a little impatient that's for sure, be bunging a few pics up when I get her.

How's the biking scene down in Oz these days, you get many Tuonos kicking about??

Mine's the only one in Townsville so far. That's one reason I bought it. They're pretty rare and a little 'exclusive'. Glad I didn't get a Duc - every man and his dog has one of those.

G,day Packhorse from even further down south than Chunkylad at Sandfly,Tasmania. Here winter has finally arrived, with a few frosty mornings this month. Although our winters are nothing like an English one. I've only seen 2 other Tuono's here. Both were the basic model and a couple of years old, as far as I know mine is the only Factory one here. My Tuono has done 6000km, it hauls arse like a steam train, out accellerates and brakes better than the ponsy porshes and boy racers here. I've got some of the best motorcycling roads 2mins. from my front gate. Nothing is worse than waiting, waiting, for your new ride eh:crazy
:cheers Perry

I hate you....................:kicknuts It's not fair!:banghead

Our local roads are ***** until you get into the twisties of the Atherton Tablelands - a ride of around 300km - before you get anything decent. Bloody Taswegians have all the fun:thumbup

Dave

Steady ........nothing like a bit of road envy now is there :lol

Anyways, G'day to you too Perry....cheers for the shout. My Tasmanian geography isn't what it should be so been looking you up on G - earth - you actually have roads....bugger!!! :biggrin

And yes.....waiting is the pits :argh:
