Can it be trimmed alittle if neccessary?
Why are you not using it?
 
Sure....trimming would be easy. Like I said, I don't really need it as we don't have cameras and I like to help my fellow Tuonoites.....ha ha ((^; I've had it for a year already and originally bought it for a total stealth bike project with anti RDD detector, anti-laser paint, and a jammer but I decided against it for various reasons
 
Again, in the UK we a stuffed from all fronts, we get pulled and fined for replacing the rear plate with a smaller one and from the 1st of Nov it is Illegal for a shop to make and supply one....
 
Boy oh boy, are you guys over governed or what?
We can't talk either, as Oz seems to be heading in the same direction
 
Yeah tell me about it,,, i keep readying me self for being pulled over and done for 'Enjoying myself without due care and attention'
 
I've lived here for ten years without being pulled up. I bought my T in March, and have been pulled up three times since. I've been lucky, and not been fined though.

Hi Everyone,
My name is Jackie. I am from NYC and love to ride mountains roads. I am picking up my 2007 Tuono Black (the fast color) lol this Friday. It is my first Aprilia or anything other than a Japanese bike or a Harley. If there are any recalls on this bike could one of you message me with the details. After I get the glaze off the tires I will take her thru the "Dragon" aka RT 129. I am hoping I can find info on exhausts and other simple mods. Glad you guys are here!
 
Welcome aboard T-Rider.. exhausts are easy Acro single system or a pair... opinions vary but im of the opinion that a single will give alittle more power and noise.. constant ejection of gases as oposed to a double where there is a drawback every alternate stroke... for wots it worth and i do like to start the odd arguement....
with ur stable im sure you will know wots wots all the bestn with the black T

Thanks for the replies and welcomes.I have wanted an Aprilia for years but kept buying other bikes. If I knew how low my insurance was going to be I would have a garage full of them!!! I will wait until the spring to get a full system, a power commander and some dyno mapping.
I just got my 07 Gixxer this year and put an M4 short GP style pipe on it and it was the worse thing I ever did. It was/is excessively loud and sends a vibration to the handlebars that has my hands going numb after about 150 miles. I just came back from "the dragon'" last week and I I wished I had gotten a tamer exhaust.
 
welcome jackie. ive had my T for a month now. just put the 15t front sprocket on what a difference. its now a bigger pleasure to ride
 
Thanks for the welcome. I am actually picking mine up in one or two days. It is a long drive for me to get there. So I am leaving with my empty trailer. Lots of pics will come!!
 
I have not looked into it Chunky but surely someone does a single system, although they are not the most popular i realise..
