hello all

just purchased an 03 tuono r and thought i'd register with this site.
I look forward to picking your brains!

first upright bike ive owned after many gsxr's cbr's yzf's tl's zxr's and trumpets
and I can't wait to pick it up next week and hopefully not have a bad back after riding it

so, hello all!

its the cleanest bike ive ever seen, I wasn't even looking for one.
just popped into the local dealer and I had to have it (much grovelling to the misses now!)
 
welcome aboard, if you love it half as much as i do then you're quids in. I just wish i'd found out about them years ago.

Sparky - your exchange rates are well out! I remember chatting to a local bike shop (bicycle) owner in the early 90's when the mountain bike boom was starting. He'd sold a £2k MTB to a guy and been asked to provide a genuine receipt (in case it got nicked) and a wife receipt for £100. Result!

well, picked it up this afternoon, AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
its like a 250 with loads of power, reminds me of my old tl1000 only good!

its a lot lighter than I expected and really quick to turn.

I don't know who owned it before me but the shift light was set to come on at 6k rpm
I thought there was something wrong with it.

any suggestions on where i should set it to? never had one before.

ALL bikes should have that engine! its bonkers

I think if the battery has been off the shift light resets to 6K
