Hi Folks,
Just bought a yellow 2002 RSV mille, haven't even collected it yet but looking forward to doing so at the weekend :biggrin

got some good tips and interesting stories from the TL zone so thought I'd join up here and see what's what.

Look forward to getting to know some of you, Any other owners in the Cambridge area?

Pitty about the starter - they're not too expensive on e-bay though :)

Love the wheels probably cost more than my bike though :(

The rsv is the best value 1000 cc bike at the moment. Prices must rise :roost
The aprilia used to win all the bike comparisons in the day (except the ones bribed by honda. I looking at you mcn:pissl )
How can a ****** honda sp1 /sp2 be worth £6000 plus (laughing at shithonda :pissl )

Finally got to ride the RSV today after spending some time sorting out the horrible things previous owners had done to it! Some people shouldn't be allowed to have tool kits!
With the suspension set up 'by the book' instead of according to someone who thinks he's Guy Martin (but manages to wear a 3 inch wide flat in the centre of the rear tyre) she now feels absolutely superb - who'd have thought multiple WSB champions, Aprilia, know best how to set up a bike they designed? DUH! read the book guys!
I bought this to replace a Suzuki TL 1000 - S and I couldn't be more pleased, it's a gem of a bike.

Found a use for the old tyres as well :)

tyres destroyed by previous owner found a home in the garden :roll
