Hi folks, just joined today, bought myself a crash dammaged 03 colin edwards rsvr and im looking to fix her up as either my track bike or road bike for next year as i've never ridden a v twin before.

Gonna try and get her running 1st as she's seen better days at the moment and take her to oulton over the winter and see how she goes.

Anyway can anyone tell me the diffrences in the 98 to 03 bikes so I don't buy the wrong pannels etc

Thanks

Gaz

that'll be an ace track bike when you get her running, be sure to post picts! :worthless

ps. and welcome to the site :cheers

ok, heres some pics of it before I started the strip down. The body work is the original CE stuff with the crabon fibre, shame it was painted matt black by the prev owner. Most of it is smashed to pieces now though

Whoa, that looks bad :hmm

Good luck with the rebuild, and welcome aboard! :) :thumbup

Blimey, That's had a bit of a tumble, been doing some gardening with it?!! I foresee many hours/pounds of sweat and tears over the winter!

she's seen better days, the father in law broke his back in the accident at island bend oulton park, I was directly behind him on my 7r.

It is a bit of a mess, but I can sort it.

My house in much worse condition! lol

As far as getting panels etc for the bike you need to get ones for bikes from 01-03 mille there different before and after that

Welcome gaz to mille heaven :thumbup.

Hi Gaz, hows the father-in-law doing with his injuries ?

nealry as good as new, back in work and coming back on track next year!

it was a end over end tumble at oulton park's island bend

I went to a trackday there earlier this year to watch some lads from another forum and one came off (may have been the same place) and had to be Helicoptered to Hospital :scared that place takes no prisoners by the sounds of it.
