Newbie looking at first purchase

Hi all, am looking at purchasing my first Tuono but am a little confused over how to tell the difference between standard, R and factory versions at a glance. Looking at the 2005-2006 era.

Have a ZX10R 2006 currently up for sale with an eye on a Tuono at a local dealers :thumbup

05 factory is a gen 1 T, black with blue wheels ohlins all round and loads of carbon fiber. Could be wrong but I dont think the gen 2 factory came out till 07. They have gold frames the standard has polished. Hope this helps you Fb min. Go and test the Tuono and see if it suits you

Factory gen 1 had gold forks and big gold shock as made by ohlins. Gen 2 is the same, but as slayer says, gold frames. Also a bit of a price difference. Wikipedia has article, and also do google search. EBay is good as you will close up photos and idea of prices. Too much info around to type here!

Thanks for that, just need to sell the Kwacka now.

Looking at a 2005 Tuono comes with standard and Akrakpovic exhaust. Anything I should look out for or be aware of?

Always loved them o6 zx10s ,the ones with the under seat exhausts . What colour is it ? Green .
