Hello all, looks like a fine website you have here! I'm considering today riding home a brand new 2015 Aprilia Capo nard but have no prior experience on an Aprilia but I need to condense to one single motorcycle for a commuter as well tourer, something with long legs but able to sprint athletically you could say...coming from Yamaha and Triumphs primarily, with solid reliability and smart rideablility....tia much to read this morning!

G'day from Australia!

Caponord will suit your requirements - but just remember, it is a tall bike, and you may struggle if you are more vertically challenged than me - I'm about 5ft 9.5" in boots and manage well (though the seat can be trimmed down 15-20mm if needed).

On the other forum (2014-2016) the UK guys had a lot of gripes, but I bought a 04/14 model last Feb, and have put 24,653kms onto it in 12 months and absolutely love it. Make sure you have a really good long test ride over roads you know - just so you can compare and be sure you are going to get along with Capo - it has been known to reject it's owners if they are not up to it's liking:rolleyes:

I rode one in 2013, but was turned off by the negative comments on the forums until 2015, when I bought my new TP - and it has been a fabulous bike , though you will have to treat it with gusto as they take a long time to run in fully if you are too gentle with the throttle!;)

Cheers - I mostly troll through the 014-106 forum - there's a heap of info (and mis-info) that's well worth a read + heaps of photos and advice......take several rides....enjoy!
