Sadly had to sell up due to a carrer change. Im now settled in my new carrer so on the hunt, I have found a nice 2000 model for the right price but it has the hadlebar riser kit fitted, Im not a fan of this so im just trying to figure ot what i need to return it to the original setup. Any help would be great.
This is the bike im looking at, and the handle bars.

You'll need some 53mm (showa) clipons and possibly a new top yoke. You could probably sell yoke and the bars to someone going the other way and easily cover cost of replacement original bars and yoke. Top fairing/screen has been modified and they are not cheap.

If longer brake/clutch lines have been fitted then not a problem to just lose a small amount of extra hose.

Looks like an easy and cheapish job if you can live with the hacked top fairing/screen.

Cheers mate i didnt notice the screen/fairing thats been cut away TBH. im hoping i can just get some showa clipons ( do they have to be showa?) cheers for the advise mate.

You have to hack the fairing to use those type of bars.

Any 53mm clipon I suppose, but the rsv (showa) ones would be better as have the proper fixing points built in for the clutch/brake fluid reservoirs. The rsvr (ohlins) ones are 51mm so no good to you.

Rob :)
