Hello to all in Tuono land!

I'm new to the site and aprilia's, however I'm not new to bikes. Over the years had CB's, FZS's, GSXR's, VFR's, FZR's, VTR's and more but for the last 3 years after riding one a friend had i've had an overwhelming urge for a Tuono!

The itch must be scratched!!!!

I'm waiting on delivery of an unmolested 2004 example with 18k miles in black and red which will arrive or friday. I'm not a patient man so this week is really hurting!!:crazy

I know these bikes are well made with very few issues but i like to be prepared so is there any helpfull tips or hints that will help me?

thankyou all in advance.

Welcome to the forum. The T is an amazing bike with loads of torque anywhere.
There's a fair amount of info on the forum, enjoy browsing, it will help pass the time till friday.

greetings and salutations scrowe, if you have a search through the old threads you will find lots of info mate. nice intro :thumbup
the sites a bit quiet at the moment and you will also find lots of info on Tuonoworld, most peeps post on both sites :yes
if your interested keep eyes open for some good ride outs as its an ideal time to meet some of the characters from the sites :rolleyes

Thank you for the warm welcomes one and all.

When i get a chance ill have a proper rummage around on here but for now i seem to have found some info on the settings & functions for the clocks which i understand are not the easiest things to understand (I'm not too good with electronics).

I really want to get the suspension sorted for me most so that's gonna be the first job.

Other than than that, just wanna ride.

Its been ages since I was there.

Are the police still stalking the back roads around the place looking for bikers who dont comply ?

There's a suspension guide floating about somewhere

I'll be looking!! i want to return the settings to factory first so i know which way im going. who knows what the last owner has done (may have been a ten ton tim or a flyweight frank).

oh yeah! they tend to float about in unmarked silver for trasit camper vans now (complete with side awning) sticking HiDef cameras out od windows on top of the unmarked R1000ss, fireblades, Busas, VFR800's and a load of Audi A4 and 5 series!

last season the van picked up an Aprilia RSV4 at 142mph!!

That really boils my piss, shame no-one can sneak up on the van with a fire cracker, or similar

I'm thinking IED but i might get banged up for that!! those Knob jockeys decided to send me to speed awareness school for doing a rip roaring 79mph on a 70 road last year (while i was being overtaken i must add)! crime of the decade!
