I have just bought a 2008 Aprilia RSV 1000R Factory. It had on it 1500 KMs only, single use owner. The bike is in excellent condition and was well maintained. This is not my only bike, as I was looking to get a sport bike I came across this machine and fell in love with it. Although I am not much familiar with the bike I have a number of queries for which I seek some assistance. It is difficult to find some stuff in the market, hence your support would be highly appreciated.
The following are my queries:
1) Does the bike show gear status and position on the instrumentation panel i.e. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, & 6th.
2) I would like to buy new set of grips and the relevant weights for it to replace factory supplied. I've seen some on pureperformancecycles.com. However, every time I check the product it does nto name the bikes, so any recommendations.
3) I am looking to replace the existing exhaust system with soem other carbon fiber model that is shorter than the one supplied standard by the manufacturer. Any suggestions?
4) Where can I get a copy of the bike operations manual and / or service manual?
5) I am looking for a quick shift system for the bike, any recommendations? Tried to find some but was not successful. (This is a priority).
If anyone else has any other recommendations to make this bike more enjoyable than it already is, please share it.
