Hi milleboy :thumbup....first bike ? nice one but steady as she goes mate these bikes are quicker than they seem :devious

google maps puts me 7638 miles away from you...so i might not make any up and coming rides...LOL
welcome mate...this site is awesome and the people are full of wisdom...
enjoy your bike!! :thumbup

hiya lads cheers for the replys

yeah i got to get to grips with the bike pretty quick, basically the situation im in is im 6ft4 so im quite a big youth to say the least and therefore i need a big bike haa!!

i passed my test in june last year and never got round to getting a bike but now ive been offered the mille and it would of been rude to say no, just need to get helmet gloves etc etc and then im on the road finnaly !

SOrry if this is a bit jumbled up im still half asleep

Welcome milleboy, sure you will feel you made the right choice of bike and forum . Enjoy :thumbup Tell us some more about the mods, we are all ears :eatcorn

Cheers buddy, im not 100% on the mods to be honest mate im getting the chap to write me a list out he did mention this not sure if im right and excuse me if totally wrong

also the chap im buying it off has his own garage and races bike so gets all the parts trade price
Sports Can (Unaware of the make)
Brake Upgrade to wavey discs (£400 trade price)
now either 1 up at the front and 1 down at the back or visa versa he said it gives better acceleration
uprated suspension

theres loads more really sorry for the pants description

welcome mate, you want 16/44 gearing IMHO. oh and a 110 linkchain.
It will be really perky everywhere and still give you 165-170 mph top end.
Ck

im not quite at that point in my life yet lol ill be happy with 70mph for a short time haaa!!!

lol i know rr
all me mates want to go out for a blast so i can guarantee ill get carried away

Don't get TOO carried way these should have a health warning label on them. they will jump up and bite you VERY hard, and you may end up being carried away in a white van with blue lights.do yourself a favor. pick your riding mates very carefully at first, sensible only, or ride on your own. spend lots of time getting use to the bike, then at a later date your mates will spend all their time playing catch up. too quick too early and all your dreams will end up as a scuffed tangled mess. you will not be disappointed with the rsv. what shocked me with mine (only done 400miles so far in 2 days from new), is the lack of perception of speed compared to my 4 cylinder sports bikes. you arrive at bends much quicker than you think, and what feels like normal cornering speeds on my zx7r/zx9r is actually much faster. anyway when you get it take it easy have fun and keep it rubber side down, they look much better looking that way.

heroblob thats biblical advice weather or not it will happen we will have to wait and see ha! only joking i got a few friends which are in a seprate group to the wreck heads so i think ill go out with them for a few weeks first

nice!! incidentally has anyone ever one in my scheme - its wierd, on most the number boards are white but on mine theyre grey and the 'red' bits are more like fluorescent orange - i might have to peel them off lol they bother me.
