Dear All

I am new to this forum. I am planning to buy a RSV Mille and would very much appreciate if you could kindly give some advice. From what I have read they are generally well built. However if you could tell me anything I should look out for. I have owned both version of TL - S&R version and I loved it, even though I had to spent a lot of money setting it up with after market products!!!

I have seen a 2003 RSV Millie for £2,500 with 15,000 on the clock. It looks mint however I am waiting for a respond from the seller about service history. Is the price reasonable?

My budget is £2,500 :-(

Thank you all in advance :)

Enjoy the rest of the weekend

Kind regards
H

Im newbie....I been watching low miles, mint, '03-4 Factory R's ( stacked with upgrades) not making £3k...:bounce People so tight !:roll These machines ought to fetch a lot more when you look at the spec !
Its a buyers market I says !

Thank you

After doing some extensive reading I have come to realise that Millie might not be suitable for me. The problem is I live in a block of flats and I only ride once a month and two if I am lucky. Due to my lack of NOT regularly riding the battery might not cope with it (I don't have access to electricity to keep the battery charged up), and last thing I need is to damage the sprag clutch. Also I read some horrendous stories about electrics if I get caught in the rain!!! I am sure it's is probably one of those very unlucky ones. I really love the look of the bike and the sound (ofcourse the engine and handling is brilliant) but it's a real shame that due to my circumstances I cant own it.

Kind regards
H

Yep really needs an optima te to look after the battery
Not had a problem with my electrics in the rain though in 4 years

Here's another idea. Rig up a cheap trickle charger - solar powered ! Cheap as chips ( Maplins) Screw it to a wall. Drive up, plug-in, walk away !
