just wanted to say hi to everyone, now i have discovered the forum. i got my 99 rsv mille, about 3 weeks ago as i had always wanted one. i must say , it's the most fun i have had on a bike since i don't know when. i would like to know if there are heli bars or something like, so as to make longer journeys more comfortable.:thumbup

Welcome buddy - just keep 80mph+* on journeys and they're not at all uncomforable once you get used to the different riding position.:thumbup

* not advocating speeding or even saying I have any experience of that kind of speed - just picked the tip up of the forum and intend to try it out sometime on the autobahn or similar:devious

welcome dude, where you from and get a pic of the masterpeice up :)

I dont know about Helibars but I would say the Tuono bars would fit, best check with other on here first mind ;)

thanks for the welcome guys. i have already discovered that they like to go fast rather than slow. town riding is a complete arse !
i already have a titanium akro can and a liberal sprinkling of carbon, aswell as a barnett clutch and mille sp body panels. she also has mtc shocks front and rear. to the untrained eye, she could be an sp !
i must say that i hadn't thought of tuono bars. hope the weather stays nice, coz i am off over the weekend and i feel the need to play !!!!:devious

Welcome streetblade :thumbup have a look in the foresale section i think there was some forsale a while ago :dunno

Welcome to the zone streetblade,

Post up some piccies and give us a clue where you are from. Some of us meet up for rideouts when we can, :thumbup

Welcome mate - you've got several options for raising the bars - helibars, Gilles Variobars, etc. You can convert it to a a Tourno top yoke or buy a 'Comfort Kit' but I reckon these last two look kak unless you do a full-on Tourno conversion. Best to give it some time as they get more comfortable with use - and work on your trunk muscles!

i find the rsv very comfortable compared to my old gixer although my wrist have ached after long rides !!
