G'day guys, thx for letting me be part of this prestigious group :p. I live in the Dandenong ranges, which is a small mountain range near Melbourne, Australia. Born in England but moved to Oz in 1988 when I was 12. I'm 40 in Febuary 2016 ( holy crap ) I've always loved motorbikes. Road and Dirt. Owned many a dirt bike as a kid. I got my first road bike at the minimum legal age here (17 years 9 months old). It was a poxy CB 250 superhawk 1984 model. Don't know how I survived that one. Next came an 2003 gsxr 600. 2007 I bought my first aprilia. The awesome tuono 1000r. I love this bike and still own it. Great for blasting round the hills here and even better at Phillip island race track. Tomorrow being 16th October 2015 I pick up my new Caponard 1200 touring. YEAH!!!!! First bike I've ever ridden for more that half an hour and not got off half crippled lol. Going to keep the tuono ( translates to thunder in Italian ) as I would only get 6 to 7k for it and payed 20k. Funny I signed the papers for the caponord last night, and I've never had any trouble with the tuono until I rode home tonight when it started breaking down past half throttle at first then 30 mins later at quarter throttle. Didn't think I'd make it home at one stage. It's like the tuono has crack the poos coz I've got another lover. Lol
Already found some interesting info on here and forum seems to be full of cool guys so I look forward to reading and posting with you lot and maybe even catching up with some.
PS I be at the Australia MotoGP at Phillip island on Sunday with May new silver caponord yip yip.

Welcome

Congratulations gembrookCapo....you will have witnessed a magnificent Moto GP by the time u read this! What a magic race!

Capo 12 is also a magic bike....just settle it in and after 5,000kms it starts to bed in and after 10,000kms it's better, and after 15,000kms it's fantastic. I have 17,509kms on mine now and it's fabulous....:D

Also, lots of info on the 2014-16 AF1 forum.

Thx brisbanord, what an awesome bike, as well as an awesome race. Possibly the best seagull head butt ever too lol.

Yeh, poor seagull....nearly made it but zagged when he should have zigged!

What about Manic Joe? Is he the new Casey Stoner or what! I know I'd melt with the likes of a Valentino Rossi sweating on my 6 o'clock......but he just rung that Duke's neck and rode it like he stole it. (the speed that thing had on the straight.....didn't need a tow to pass at will.....awesome)

Cheers man.
