New to the forum

Hey everyone, I'm a new member and just wanted to say Hi. I just bought a used 02 Caponord in January and cant wait to ride as soon as the weather here in Minnesota moderates. I've ridden all sorts of bikes through the years from a 76 BMW R/6 to a Yamaha 1600 Roadstar. I love the big v-twin power and torque and am finding the upright seating position more comfortable now that I'm ,shall we say, middle aged?! My bike didn't have the hand guards, so I ordered a pair of BMW GS 1150 and will make them work. This will give me something to do other than just ogle my bike in the garage. Since we have ample snow on the ground and temps hovering around 5 deg Farenheight, I wont be riding anytime soon..... Ugh!

It's special low melt snow so that we can feel the hardship of you guys up north without getting too cold

The snow or the bike? Seriously, I bought the bike from an Aprilia dealer here in Minnesota. It's a super clean 02 with only 9600 mi on it. The story goes: the former owner was quite the enthusiast with over 5 bikes, so each of them has limited use. I'm frothing at the bit to get on it and ride!!!

First Capo ride!!

Well the snow has relented here in Minnesota, 45 degrees F. and the roads are clear so I got my first ever Caponord etv 1000 ride in. All I can say is WOW... everything I hoped it would be and then some. I am interested in finding either a taller windscreen or I've seen windscreen extenders on youtube videos. Any input on where I can find them would be greatly appreciated. I'm glad I entered the Aprilia world
