New to RSV's , feels a bit lean / rough

I have an 02 mille with akra ti and ti evo 2 chip. Not sure if the airbox has been modded.
I'm new to these bikes but to me it feels a bit lean around the midrange. Pulls hard but there's a lot of rough vibes around the 5-6k range. Especially with fast roll-ons.

So how might I smooth it out? I'm not too fussed about top end power, I just want torque and smooth midrange.

I just ordered a db killer for the akra to see if that has any effect.

Should I be looking at the collector mod?

I'd say yes ... Maybe another EPROM as well ...there are better one than the evo out there

I fitted the dB killer last weekend and the bike feels a lot smoother and less snatchy at low revs. It feels like there's a bit more midrange but there's still a roughness around the 6k mark though.

I've read loads of good reports on the collector mod with the Gabro F255.... Redratbike, do you sell chips with the collectors?
Is some sort of airbox mod essential for this setup also??

No I only sell collectors.... Gabro chips are good as are forza aprilia ones

He also does evo air boxes.
