New to Aprilla - cooling issue??

Hey all, got my first RSV and think I have a cooling issue. When riding it sits at 75°c (-1 / +1) when idle it creams up to 100 easy and no sign of the fans kicking in.

Got it home and let it cool down and took the panels off. Fired it up let it heat up. Got upto 102 and still no fans so turned it off

Also, pulled the top black pipe off the reservoir and fired up and nothing was coming out. Surely there should have been a flow ( there is plenty of coolant in there)

Help, am I just being dumb and a rooky?

Try shorting the spade connectors on the thermo switch. it's between the tank and frame on the left hand side as you sit on the bike. If the fans fire up you'll probably need to change the thermo switch. Or stick a toggle switch there for the time being. Just flick it on when the temp gets a bit high.

Your welcome. Have the same problem with mine & yesterday the speed sensor packed up! There like hens teeth to find a second hand one. To tight to pay £96 for a new one 😆
