Hi all,

I'm all new to the Aprilia but today left my deposit for a late 2014 Aprilia Tuono V4R hopefully ready for collecting this coming Saturday

Currently also in the stable bikewise are;

2001 Honda VTR1000SP2
1996 Honda CBR600F
1984 Honda XL250S
1980 Beamish Suzuki 250
1975 Ossa 250 MAR

Don't know any of the Aprilia lingo yet so please bear with me.

Cheers for now

Rich

welcome Rich only lingo I know of is Aprilia Tuono tourettes

Ie
My "******" Aprilia Tuono is fast "******" fast, way "******" faster than your jap crotch rocket.

I think you get it?

Hs2300, understand but the SP1 is a good bike...... good enough for joey to win a tt and Colin Edwards to win a WSBK championship on so not all jap is crap.

Looking forward to getting to know my Italian stallion though!

P.s. ossa is Spanish

Rich wasn't a dig at your current garage. hope you have as much fun on the Tuono as I do

The SP2 is a very very fine machine. Hard on the body but an absolute classic. I have a '98 Firestorm. A shadow of the SP2 but with upgraded suspension and brakes it keeps plenty of il4s honest.

I had my MY17 Factory delivered on Thursday and so far I've managed 135 miles on it. Not much but the weather has been atrocious. I'm embarrassed to admit I never rode one before I bought it and that could have been a horrible mistake. So far I've been astounded with it. I'm sure you will enjoy yours.

Hs2300 no harm done and thanks for the welcome :thumbup

The sp kills me and every time I get to the end of a decent ride and say never again.... hence (finally after 8 years of moaning) something a little more comfortable. similarly to you Kermit I’ve never ridden one either but Im confident I’ve made a good choice.
Just want the bike and it to stop raining now

The Tuono is Home, given a good clean over, couldn’t be happier just wish the snow would bugger off and it would warm up so I could ride the thing!

Could always make snow men to stem the boredom

Get some picture up of the new beast before you get it dirty :thumbup
