Wel I dont no if iv done it myself with to much oil when the bike is cold its at half way line.basicaly went out on sunday bike was fine had done about 30 mile maybe more.so as I pulled the clutch in to stop she cut out and will not start up the starter motor just whines and it dosent turn over there was no bangs or odd noise no leaks so im assuming iv buggered it with oil?
 
you check the oil once its been warmed up ..never when its cold ..

easiest way is a syringe and bit of pipe in the top of the oil tank

or drain it out and refill it with the correct amount

involves draining oil tank,oil filter off and drain plug next to filter
 
not a lot about 10ml it doesn't turn over just makes the whine noise.i been told to ring him but when I get home there closed as I carnt use my phone at work

Apologies I thought you'd over filled it with oil.

Ok post up on rsvr.net ...sure someone would have had the same issues
