burnham on sea
Well i picked up the new T on saturday ( in the back of the van ... pissing down ) and spent a hour or so fitting small no plate crash bungs etc , New Mivv pipe in the post !! and then stuck it in the garage ....

Got out on her today ..... well **** me sideways aint this thing a piece of kit , thought me old Gen II had some grunt but blow me this thing just pulls , but you lot already knew that . I thought the V twin made a good noise but im loving the induction roar on this thing .
Seems i have a bit more length between me arse and pegs which is good for me old shagged knees but a tad more weight on my wrists .

I was sad to see me old Gen II go as i was on my second but wanted a little more for me trackdays but not to worry though as i think im gonna like this one ....:thumbup

Just need to work out wot all these electrical gizzmos do now !

Yeh got to wait 10 bloody days as they were out of stock , standard can sounds ok for a standard unit though , a mate reckons he aint riding behind me when the Mivv goes on , he wont have a choice i reckon ...

The GP shorty in carbon , just hope it aint too loud ,,,,,,, who am i kidding

Too loud?

:lol

I'm ready to pull the trigger on a new exhaust, but I'm caught between a great deal on a Leo vince evo2 in carbon and the Mivv gp in carbon.

Where did you order yours from shotgun?

Loosen the adjuster nuts on the flapper valve cables.

these are located on the right side of the bike as you sit on it.

they come out of the servo then run under the bike to the flapper valve.

Once you have slackened the adjusters you will be able to remove the cables from the flapper valve itself.

It's awkward because it's under the bike, but I used a pair of point nose pliers to release each nipple from the cam.

All will become clear when you look underneath from the left side as you sit on it.

You can then either leave the cables where they are or remove them all together.

Mine are still in the stock location.

i removed them from the servo not the valve itself ye and left them there
cheers

Cheers for the info about the valve chaps , will have a tinker on saturday if you lot reckon it smooths things out a tad , and more importantly it sounds better !!!!!

I did mate, but i'm not keen on the looks.

I've had Akra before on other bikes and they are one of the best out there, but I want something different for the T.
