I bought my 2002 Aprilia RSV Mille R two weeks ago and have booked it in with Griff at Performance Aprilia for a thorough going over.
My brother and I are going through a second childhood. He has a Hyabusa and a TLR and I have a Blackbird and a KLR Tengai and now the Mille (unless my brother nicks it!)
Ever since he bought the TLR I had been looking for a twin as I found the torque, engine characteristics and the noise intoxicating.
I am 6'4" and around 280 pounds and find that the Ape is a great size though I'm not so comfortable with the pegs and the gear/rear break leaver positions. Something to talk to Griff about as I want to use the Mille as a Sunday blast and ,full MOT, track day bike (ride to the circuit, ride on the circuit then ride home again)
I look forward to talking about and learning more about my Italian thoroughbred.
