New pipe

My link pipe arrived today, just got in from fitting it :doug
Pictures not too good cos it was getting dark and took on a camera phone.

My bashed and dented Mille.

One i took a while ago in better light.

Before anyone says owt i aint got the money to fix a bike then bin it for whatever reason

Yes well, the rear seat.
I had a plastic base plate but no cover or padding and that wouldnt do.
So i set about ringing every breaker in the effin UK for an 01 mille pillion seat and they all laughed "no mate we aint got one of those" theyre like rocking horses ****. :roll
I neaded a seat not a seat hump because i use panniers for bike shows so i thought im not going to be stuck ill try making one with the baseplate i had.
So i screwed some ply to the baseplate and got a local upolseterer to pad and cover it.
Its really comfy :inlove

lol I was thinking of doing something like that with the base of the cowl. yours is a little high for me.

got to sort one out for IOM this year so my panniers will fit on

Yeah well after having a talk to the upolsterer he asked how deep id like the seat padded so i said 2", he got a bit of foam and i put it on his table and i sat on it.
Any thinner and my arse would have been resting on the table through the foam so i said fine 2" foam cover it.
not too concerned how it looks (he did a good job though) as long as my passengers get a comfy ride.
I was a passenger on my mates bike alot before passing my test so im sympathetic. :inlove
