Hi all. Wonder if you can help me. I bought a 03 tuono and it handles like my old GPZ I had in the 80,s. The back end wallows about on bends giving me no confidence to really push it. Is it a tyre or suspension issue? Im 6ft tall and weigh 13 stone if that helps?

Welcome Eddie,

The T is a big bike so 6ft and 13st is not an issue. It sounds more likely that the suspension is way off for you and your riding style.
It could also be a tyre issue, check your tyres out and see if they need replacing.

Re-set your suspension to the"stock" settings front and back. These are in the owners manual. If you are no good with spanners, then any decent bike shop should be able to set it for you.

This is your starting point, ride and then alter one aspect of the suspension at a time to check for improvement.
If you still don't think it's right, then it's time for a suspension guru to help you out.

Good luck

Gray

There's your problem F E .......you're pushing it..... Ride it

Get the power on early and the rear will sit down through the turns.

hi ya and welcome pal,

i had similar issues with mine, wanting to sit up in corners,

im 6' 2" and 15 1/2 stone :crazy, anyhows i noticed an uneven wear pattern on the front tyre, so having that replaced today, and as Gray says i set the suspension back to stock, found details in the manual, was really easy, the settings had been altered a fair bit, gonna give it a try this afternoon after the tyres been fitted,

What tyres are you running Eddie? I find the angel gt's on mine ride very differently from the power pilot 3's I had before... But do reset your suspension first
