hi everyone

i'm now the owner of a 2005 tuono in silver really clean an just one owner from new sweet.
been off bikes for just over three years cos of health and decided sod it I'll keep riding as long as can, the last couple
days reminded me the pleasure definitely out-ways the pain. so far luv bike good comfy sitting position.

when i checked bike over the oil had been overfilled, ie checked oil after a run, checked it while engine
running and after been stood an cooled down and the level tube was full past max to top every time.
i'm also having trouble seeing wether the coolent level is rite as can't seem to see it through the level window

bike was serviced prior to purchase.

Welcome to the forum. Its a common thing for the bikes to be overfilled with oil. I agree the coolant is also difficult to see through the window, but if just serviced, maybe they got that right.
Enjoy.

cheers fella i have removed excess oil and will double check next time run it up.
removed about 300cc and now about mid way up tube so when run it hopefully it'll go up bit.

well coolent think is bout rite was out most yesterday and weather was cooking hot,
even in traffic it was about 85 and bout 75 riding so cant be far off. think with most cooling
systems if you over fill a bit it pushes excess out and levels itself normally.

thanks for reply and i'm definately enjoying.

Welcome mucker and aye the coolent level on gen1 and 2's is hard to see.

Enjoy yer machine as much as yer can and good for yer that yer willling tae put up with the pain to be be oot on yer machine. :clap :thumbup

aye, welcome loon..

some folk have been known to put food dye in the coolant to make it easier to see.. but thats just a cocks trick...

watch yer temps.. pop the cover off now and then to check yer level.. simples
