In January 2012 I changed from a Ducati 1098 to the RSV4 APRC.
10 days after receiving the bike the engine didnt start, the aprilia dealer charged the battery....15 days later it didnt start again, they replaced the battery and the problem was solved.
Yesterday I was riding at around 200 KPH going from 5th to 6th gear, heard a strange noise and the 6th gear did not enter.
Took the bike to the dealer and they say the gear box must be replaced.
The bike has 1.600 KM, 4 months and they want to replace the gear box ?????
Does any of you had this kind of problems ???
What would you do ? should I demand a new bike or is it OK to replace the gear box and pray for no more problems???
I use the bike everyday and the Aprilia dealer in Lisbon has been very correct with me, I now ride a replacement bike Aprilia MANA 850 :angry and expect a reply from Aprilia...
