New MIVVS

S

samgoon

Had a new pair of MIVVS for Valentines day yesterday!:doug

Nice and easy to fit - hardest part was putting the little rubber sleeves onto the retaining springs!! They sound great, even with the baffles in, nice without being too offensive to ride with. Going to resist the temptation to take the baffles out until I go for a service and get the Map changed over.

Any suggestions for trying to get the two cans aligned symetrically? Its bothering me a little that they seem to be sitting at ever so slightly different angles - not helped by the number plate being slightly off centre!! Maybe I'm just being picky?:jack

You need to play about with the link pipes as this is what really determins the position of the cans. Loosen eveything up then just tweek the link pipes and cans until you get everything aligned correctly

ta, will give that a go - was in a bit of a rush to get them on and hear what they sounded like!!

ha ha! must have missed me while I was out of the country with work!

Was about to order the Delkevic cans (thanks for all the info from Kawasakiinit), and thought I push for a little more cash and get something italian instead! Really happy with them so far.:doug

Sam, I can't see the pictures of your new cans. Hope they look as good as mine. I think I have mine lined up right now. You are right also about the sound with the baffles in, but you have got to hear them with them out ............honest!!

Ta! I m pretty pleased with them so far and looking forward to the weekend for a proper test!
