hi guys ive just bought my first mille its a 2001 model on an x reg are there any problems i should know about like cam chain tensioners and the such like going at regular intervals and how often to service

Buy an optimate (if you dont already have one) the battery needs to be kept tip top to avoid starting problems. And very importantly never use throttle on start up, only the cold start lever or you will damage the sprag (starter) clutch and it's an expensive repair.

as above plus check the oil tank(dry sump) if you rag it, it will use some.
