My name is Skeksis, and I am a Mille owner.

And a damn proud one at that. I'm a previous R6 owner who spent his days riding thinking about something else, his dream bike, the RSV 1000 Mille. When the time came around that I could afford it I took it and although I've only had it for 3 days, it's been nothing but bliss so far and I know there's even more to come.

Anyway, it's great to be here and enough with the intro, here's my pics!

Very nice Bol D'or Mr Skeksis, welcome to the forum and happy hunting :thumbup

Skeksis.....Dark Crystal? Do you find it hard finding a helmet that fits?? Or is that the look every time you got on the R6? :nana

Whoa! No one ever gets the Dark Crystal reference! That just tickles me to no end. It's my favorite movie from my childhood. I even got a tattoo from the movie (it's the glyphs that sit on the floor under where the Dark Crystal hovers)

In answer to another question, I am in the states! San Francisco, California to be exact. Just got back from a ride in the mountains and i'm freaking out how great this bike feels. I love every single thing about it.

On a side note, I spent countless hours pouring through the forum last night and you guys, this whole community, is fantastic. Lots of great information, great pictures and a good font of rider experience to boot.

Thanks for the welcomes, everyone! :doug

:devious the Dark Crystal tis indeed a great movie sir. :thumbup for the tattoo, and is that endo on your fingers? :biggrin

Enjoy the bike and the forum squire :pirate

California is currently very sunny ('bout 32 degrees C) and Alcatraz is doing pretty well at the moment (thanks to Nick Cage and Sean Connery, of course)

And yeah, that does read "endo" on my fingers, but actually it's just half of the tattoo.. The first half reads "Nint"... Put em together and you get "Nintendo".

...yes, I am that much of a dork.

Thanks again for all the warm welcomes!!

awesome bike and cali sounds like a great place to ride, making me jealous sitting here watching the rain which has been falling nearly all day

You just say when and where and I'm there!!! Oddly enough you're living close to my old stomping grounds. Born and raised in Ohio, so at least I'll know how to work that rifle when you bring it over for le revolution! :devious

Cali is a sweet place for a bike, I have to admit, although I'm a bit of a pussy when it comes to super hot weather and right now it's just about as hot as I can handle it. Luckily, it cools down considerably up in the shadey twisty bits of the mountains.

Now I just need to figure out some way to get my bike over to the UK and the rest of Europe so I can tour a bit.
