Hi guys, thought i'd best join the forum after deciding to buy a Tuono V4 in the coming spring. I've currently got a 1997 Bandit 1200 with a few mods done to it but can't wait to get my hands on the Tuono!!!!!! Originally was goin to upgrade to a CB1000R but after trying one it was just to Honda for me, and the more i read about the Tuono the more i want/need one. I've been reading through a lot of posts on the forum and you all seem like a great bunch of guys and provide great help and information :) Cheers for just now

Welcome mate , you wont regret giving the Honda a miss and getting a tuono ...

Welcome peerieivan, I've had a cb1000r and its a great, exceedingly rideable but typical Honda, getting a Tuono will be different but the grin will be telling you whether you made the right decision or not......you have. The change from a bandit to a v4 will be quite dramatic...! Good on ya

Welcome pv, chalk and cheese mucker.

As above, smart move. :thumbup

Cheers guys, can't stop looking up bikes for sale!! Sooner I get one the sooner the itch will be scratched :thumbup

Just clocked yer location, sure there is an inmate from yer neck of the woods.

Might have been Orkney though.

Anyhoo yer must be The or The second most northerly Fud on here. :thumbup

How many miles do yer mange in a year mucker. ???

greetings and salutations mucker :thumbup I made the change from a bandit 2 years ago and never looked back :yes

Welcome aboard pv....
Never been to shetland..... but will you ever get out of 2nd gear.....
:lol

As a current v4 and bandit 600 owner, I can assure you the Tuono will blow you away.

I traded a 08 Fireblade, a great bike, for mine and never looked back.

The Honda without doubt would get you where you want to go smoothly and effortlessly.

The T V4 however will leave you laughing like someone that has just escaped from the funny farm and you will never get to your destination because you just want to keep riding it.

Great choice and welcome :thumbup

Hah, yeah I'll manage a gear or two above second :bigsmile yes the roads up here are awesome, a lot o visitors say there some o the best they've been on. I must be the most northerly member on here right enough. My mate bought a tuono last year but only had it a couple o weeks then wrote it off on the first day of the local rally, went back to a honda after that saying he thought the honda gods were angry on him for buying an aprillia :lol

Well guys I'm delighted to say after a long journey of 416 miles in a van and 12 hours on a ferry my Tuono arrived today :) Perfect evening to try it out and I am in NO ways disappointed, as many of you have said I'm grinning like a Cheshire Cat :) Bike is awesome, best thing I've ever ridden, map T and traction 3 at the moment, will try wheelie control off next time out oh happy days :)
