Hi ya'll.. me to new to the Zone???

I guess I'll have to also find my way into the 'T Zone' and intro meself gently..in time

Ya..me too. The red ones always seem to look great! Especially my 04' with the bronze colored frame.. looks even better when I fixed the Ohlins front end...and with the OZ white rims (off a crashed 04' Racing).

:thumbup Wowee..thank you and lucky you..so many bikes to ride.. but bet the black Tuono gets the most ridden?

Can't help but ride it; mines so smooth between 4200rpm and 6000rpm. Don't even have to shift down from 5th or even 6th gear on my daily commute (on the freeway and by-ways).

Just got back from an easy almost 5,000km trip from Thailand with not so much as a misfire; highly recommend the Bridgestone 016 tri-compound rears. Gave great wear (down to bout 40% tread now). Oh yeah..it rained almost 900km on the way up to Surat Thani (stopover Thai town before Koa Samui).. had great traction and feel in torrential rain...

Hope to hear bout your trips around that BIG open country that you live in.

Chio!:cheers

:thumbup Cheers BikePilot..is that you in the pic? Great view of the mountains in the back. That means great roads with corners to enjoy.. very friendly to Tuono's no?

Yep, that's me. I was on a 919 at the time, but great ride all the same:) I am in school on the east cost and had work in Colorado (about middle of the country) for the summer. My bike wasn't operable at the time but my dad let me borrow his 919 for the summer. I flew down to his place in FL, hung with the family for a bit, then made my way to CO, worked and rode out there for a few weeks then made my way back. Ride report here:deal

:thumbup Great ride and route and pics; from the route maps and pics I'd say you'll do justice with your Tuono....

So you were a TL owner once huh? Had one in 2000..thought it was kinda small and proned for a 45 year old (but you're rite, your mum looked great at 50)..so I sold the TL and got a V Strom...great bike to the point of boring (kinda like a Honda)..? Traded that for a Monster 900...sold that real quick when Aprilia showed me the Tuono in 04'..great bike! :cheers
