Hi just swopped my ZX9R for a RSV a month or so ago.Not as fast but some much better in handling,looks and sound. Hope to get out a lot more often and do a few meets. Mike
 
when you say the zx9 is faster have you changed the sprockets you have to have 2 more teeth on the back and 1 of the front i havent had mine done yet but will be after xmas

Sort out your gearing geeza, i bet its over geared!!

make sure you drop one tooth of the front to make em come alive ...i promise!!

alright Griffer?! I'll def be lookin to drop a tooth on front when you can get down Vinnie's place along with service etc? can't wait for 2010 good weather please! Vinnie has kindly sorted out some other goodies for me too!

welcome mate! i've come from a ZX9R f2 and it doesn't feel as quick but it is deceptive how fast the mille is. that zx9r had a corkin lump though didn't it? you'll love the mille though. its a great bike.
 
Welcome alfa, as knightster rightly pointed out, these beasts (like all big twin sportsbikes) are deceptively fast, as the engine aint buzzin away like an il4. They do take time to adjust to, but once you do you'll probably never want anything else :biggrin
 
welcome to the zone mate......your rsv should be quicker than a zx9.....get your gearing to 16/44 and it will be spot on!!
