Hello everyone, I've got an RSV-R 2004. Lovin it! Very interested in the posts re: back brake and Neutral (Has it got a neutral??). But come on, what a bike!! To ride it is awesome, and I love it despite it's undeniable faults. I'll follow the guidanc on this forum to try and solve them. Seriously tho', why on earth won't aprilia admit there's a problem with the rear brake?? I just had mine bled out etc and within 600 miles it is non-existent! Honestly.... anyway, will put a pic up of my baby asap, and keep the good advice coming, i'm lapping it up. Cheers, Chris, Wrexham
How do i put up a pic?? It asks me for a URL?
WTF??

Welcome to the Zone mate. Gratz on the new bike :), if you have any questions i would do a search on the forum 1st as it will more than likely have been answered somewhere else. As for pics try look in the 'How to' forum i think it explains pics, links etc in there.

welcome dude, yup the back brake is *****.(take caliper off to bleed shud last 2k) O/w great bikes, tho yer model has more probs than early ones. To get neutral go up and tap it down into first. and get an optimate..and some tigs...and a pc111..and a quickshifter ....and a slipper clutch etc etc
Ck

Welcome to the best RSV site ever.

To get piccies uploaded you need to create a Photobucket account (Google it, it's free), upload the images to said Photobucket account from your PC, this then creates a URL or address for that image, all you do then is paste that URL or address in the box that asks for it.

Have fun

Aye, tis pretty easy to do even for those less computer savvy....

I use imageshack myself although photobucket does the same thing. If you just want to upload a couple of pics with imageshack:

1) Obviously make sure you have the piccies on your PC in an easy to find folder somewhere and that they are a forum friendly size - no point having a mahoosive image 3 times the size of your screen sort of thing.

Goto http://imageshack.us/

On the front page, click on the 'browse' button . The default setting on that page is to upload a photo ( the little clicky box next to image, url, video, multiloader, file exchange)

A window will open, browse on your computer to the folder where your piccy is , find the piccy you want to upload, highlight it by clicking on it , then click open in the bottom right hand corner.

This will take you back to the imageshack page and next to the browse button is a text box - the route to the image on your computer should now be in that text box:

Then click the upload button and after a few seconds , you'll get a list of links to the image to choose from.

The one I use, which displays the image directly into your post rather than it being a link to click on , is the 'direct link to image' one. It is usually below some text that says:

"DO NOT Use Link Below when posting. Use FORUM Links above for posts"

Highlight that link and copy the link ( right click on the highlighted text and click copy in the popup window , or press Ctrl then C )

Back to RSVzone , in your post, click on the insert image button at the top ( the wee mountains type picture ) then right click in the popup box and click paste or press Ctrl then V and you're done. Press ok and finish up your post then post it.

Should do the trick.
