Hello All

I'm looking for an alternate bike for touring and the 2015 Caponord 1200 has got my attention. I'm an old guy (61) short in stature (5'8"), live in Canada and have ridden bikes for a while. Do you think this thing is something i can tolerate living with. I presently have a harley davidson ultra classic. i like putting in 300 miles a day on my rode trips

G'day instrument-dude, caponord is a fine bike - it just takes around 12,000miles to break in the motor fully......in the meantime you have to learn how to control the sensitive RBW throttle servo motor.....it's easy enough, but it's not for everyone. So if you test ride and like then test ride again and read the forums (2014-2016 is where we troll 99% of the time).

Be-careful of those who blame everything else for their own tampering issues, but there is also a wealth of information and ideas if you are smitten with this wonderful machine.

Mine is a 2014 TP and I have 23,440kms (14,000miles app) and it is now perfect.....but it did take till about 15,000kms to settle the throttle and now it is 100% smooth at all revs.

Cheers:D
