Just thought i would say hello as i have just put down a deposit on a 2006 gen1 tuono.
Not originally what i was looking for as i was after a Z1000 but as soon as i set eyes on this tuono at the dealers I was smitten as it was in lovely condition and with low miles and sounds stunning with an akrapovic can.
Hope to be picking it up next week and hopefully it will be trouble free for a while.

A quick question, the mileage on it is displayed in km, is there any way to change it to miles.

Very easy, press and hold l/h button (A)for about 5 seconds, display will flash, release and press centre button, display will change, press and hold l/h button again until display stops flashing , 5 seconds again

I came from a Z1SX and can fully understand you falling for the Tuono, great bike. ENJOY

Well just got back from picking it up and what a machine, an absolute pussycat for tottering around on but my god is it brutal when you open it up. I couldn't resist a 2nd gear pull at the first opportunity that I got and it scared the crap out of me when the wheel started to lift. I can see me having a lot of fun on this.
