I bought it from OVIX Motorsports late last year in California. Bike has been in numerous advertisements and catalogs, was one of 2 used in the movie transformers and has been on the TV show shown in the vid. The chic with it is hot but dumb as a stump. She should have just kept her mouth shut....:roll

Going to add some more upgrades to it this year....rearsets, clip-ons, etc Currently have a set of Giles Vario bars to install when it warms up.

Just watched the vid and see what you mean, would have been better without the airhead but hey nice laugh. And you wouldn't say no to her would you? pity she felt the need to talk though.

I'd still do her, I'd just ask that she not talk. That's a tall order for a woman though...:biggrin

The lower fairings are at Troy Lee in Cali now getting "Aprilia" put on them in white to break up the blandness of them being all black.

Will be adding some Rizoma bits and some more CF soon too. If I am a really good boy maybe some Marchesini's this summer.

Really? I was thinking of either polishing the swing arm or getting it coated to match the frame....

The color looks more orange in the pics it's really more of a retina burning red. My camera just didn't pick up the color well.

The worst thing they did in Transformers was replace the sound with IL4:jack
Is the bike actually in the film.

The guy I bought it from said it was one of 2 bike used in the movie. The other was damaged beyond practical repair and was parted out. Mine survived unscathed and went on to ad/magazine work after he bought for a rolling demo to help display his companies goods. It was at SEMA for 2 years too. Guy also sent a bunch of Aprilia SWAG with it. :thumbup

I bought it because I was looking for a primo RSV and this one had a load of custom work already done, it's history was just an added bonus. As you might imagine, I don't thrash it. It's my "I gotta get out of the house bike".
 
Hello mate welcome to the zone. She does does look a bit orange in the photo's but I like it. I think the ears need changing for carbon ones and that will break it up nicely. I actually like the black frame and if the bike is a bit more red in the flesh I reckon the black framewould suit it even more.
 
Ah its one of those elusive four pot rsv's from the transformers film.... How COULD they replace that growl with a horrible whine? Sacrilege!
