Hey all

This weekend I picked up my 2014 Tuono from Palmers in Herts.

I've been on Ducati's for many years and chucked in my 1098 Streetfighter on the Tuono deal, cant say I'm in anyway disappointed; that V4 engine is insane!

I put the carbon Akrapovic slip on with the de-cat pipe on along with the Aprilia tail tidy, now waiting for the replacement number plate to arrive since the current one fouls the indicators. Guess the Italians didn't design that with the massive UK plate in mind.

I've got a couple of hundred miles on it so far, keeping it below 8k revs is killing me.

The only downside is that it was delivered with a vertical cut on the clutch cover that's gone straight down to the metal. When I picked it up I figured it was just a bit of chain wax but sadly not. Palmers are going to replace FOC however.

Getting the damn thing up on the trackstand gives me the fear! After so many years of using stands with a pin for the Ducati single siders its taking time to adjust to using cotton reels again.

welcome dude . buy an abba stand much safer than poxy paddock stands . there are loads of threads of bikes falling off paddock stands. mine very nearly fell of my stand ,hence the abba stand recommendation .

mine fell off the paddock stand yesterday, luckily I was in the middle of putting it on the front stand

I quite like single swing arm stands with the pin through the hub, they're pretty secure.

Now front paddock stands, I've never met one that wasn't a nightmare!
